Our client is opening a Financial Services Center in north - western Poland. The Management Team will build the organization and set up the operations of the Centre in Poland.

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage a process team
• Provide support to a FSSC Process Manager
• Lead the sub-process area and manage team performance
• Review and report on performance of processing teams against service level agreements
• Maintain good working relationships with process owners and other SSC teams
• Recruit and train new accountants/ operators
• Deliver service and report monthly performance in accordance with the Service Level Agreement
• Motivate team to achieve individual and team objectives

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 4-6 years of experience, and preferable 2+ years in team management role potentially in a Shared Services or Outsourcing environment
• Team or project management experience
• Strong experience in Accounting Operations, especially related to: month end closing and time schedule for General Ledger, management & statutory reporting
• Strong knowledge on the application of accounting tools and major ERP system(s)
• Very good talking, writing and reading proficiency in the national language and English
• Preferred German or French for the relevant areas.
